Sangha Update

Conservatory Gardens, NYC by me!

We walk in beauty.
Beauty before, behind, above and below us….
Let’s enjoy this magnificent garden of earthly delights!

Dear Friends,

It was lovely to be with you this past weekend. The Day of Mindfulness in Franklin, MA was wonderful. Many thanks to Susan EmmerSchmidt and the Path of Peace Sangha for creating such a beautiful day for us.

And to Eric and Kristen and all who helped with the Generations Sangha on Saturday…it is so important to¬†support sharing the practice with children.

And it was lovely to have so many of you join us for the OI and aspirant meeting and potluck.¬†Then it was so moving to have Eva share her practice with a lovely Dharma talk (which also illustrated the importance of sharing our practice — especially the Fourth Mindfulness Training — with children!)
Thank you to all of you who came to practice together. It is such a joy to interbe!

IMPORTANT MEETING CHANGE Robert and Monica are unable to host a meeting on their usual 4th Sunday so there will be no meeting on the 22nd, They have, however graciously offered to host a gathering on the 29th…since this month has a fifth Sunday. So there will be a meeting at their home at 6:00 pm. All of their contact info is below.

I am sorry to say that my father has been hospitalized in Florida. Please keep him in your prayers. It looks like he will be needing intensive care. so I don’t know when I will be where…but I do know that I won’t be able to have access to email consistently…so..if it is important for you to contact me…please call. I will be retrieving messages periodically. I thank all of you who have been deepening your practice and supporting the sanghas…as Margaret Mead so beautifully put it…
“A small group of thoughtful people could change the world. Indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
That would be us!

MIND TAMERS will meet Tuesday, April 24 at St. Matthew’s Church in West Barrington at 6:30 pm.

CLEAR PATH SANGHA will meet Wednesday, April 25 at Westminster Unitarian church in East Greenwich at 6:00 p.m. They will be continuing to follow the Moment by Moment teachings from the Deer Park Monastery during winter retreat.

I hope you will be able to be at one or all of these gatherings.

Please check for Thay’s Dharma talks….and the calendar page for information about upcoming Days of Mindfulness — one in Waterbury, CT on May 26 and the RI Community of Mindfulness Retreat, May 18-22!

And until we meet again, I hope you are enjoying this garden of earthly delights.
with much love and many hugs and the deep peace of three conscious breaths for you,
