I hope you are all well. This is the first I have access to a computer where I could mail to our list since Thursday, sorry for the delays.
A note from Clare regarding tonight’s meeting at the UU church at 6 PM……
Good morning, Joanne. I hope you and Richard are well and nourishing seeds of joy and happiness. This Sunday, I’d like us to discuss books to use as the ground of our dharma discussion for the first Sunday of the month. Some people have already expressed what they would like to use. It would be wonderful if people could bring with them the book they prefer and offer a short description.
We will have our regular sangha gathering with sitting meditation. I’ll offer a short dharma reflection about the beginning anew practice as the new buds are arrive.
Following the sharing and recitation of the five lovely mindfulness trainings, we will allow some time to offer suggestions for the book.
if anyone has copies of the books you believe would be especially beneficial for our group, please bring them along.
Next week, we will send out a final option for people to send their votes by email that we can then tally so the decision will be made and books purchased by the May sangha.
Thanks, with much love,
Our dear Sangha brother, Robert Rosa’s father passed away on Friday morning after a long illness. Please hold him and his family in your prayers and meditations and in your hearts. We had the opportunity to visit with Robert and his father the day before his passing and he was being held with so much love and care. You can send love to Robert at 242 President Avenue, Apt. 12, Providence, RI 02906
